Phase I Seed Round — Pre-Sale
This is a message from ukiyo Mission Control 📡
Calling all builders of web3. ukiyo's Phase I Seed — Pre-Sale Round is now LIVE! 🎬
After almost 2 years of building and creating the foundations for ukiyo, the team are finally welcoming the first foray of seed investors to take part and hold a stake in the protocol during its first stages. As you all arrive in the shape of budding venturers to this shiny new digital plain, we are requesting your assistance to help us build on these foundations so for the very first time we can truly connect DeFi to the physical world.
Your role as a settler 👫
Becoming a seed investor doesn't necessarily mean that your job is to simply fund the ukiyo project, nor is it about making quick financial gain at the expense of late arrivals to the community. We ask you to trust code more than people, and therefore, trust the protocol, the smart contracts, and their respective mechanics. Your calling to the private sale is to provide you with a voice in the bigger picture when ukiyo reaches mass adoption — something we expect to happen sooner, rather than later.
We expect to launch the consensus system next month in order for the first arrivals to assemble and participate in discussion. The staking system is to quickly follow before the highly anticipated ukiyo Ventures DApp launches.
Consensus, community, discord, and ideation are important for the protocol. The blueprints of ukiyo Ventures are laid out — but who's to say they're perfect? Just as astronauts in a space launch are carefully selected from specialist fields — from botany, biology, physics and psychology — we too expect our first arrivals to come from diverse backgrounds and have their say in the protocol, and this can only be done by holding the $KXO token.
To stop so-called free-riders, we've decided to implement a 9-month lock for seed investors. $KXO tokens will be vested in a secured smart contract ensuring that those looking to become the first venturers in ukiyo are truly invested in the project. Over the course of the next 9 months we are confident that you, as the first "settlement" in ukiyo, will help build the infrastructure for following settlements and communities when they arrive.
A quick brief for new recruits
The ukiyo DeFi Protocol is designed as a DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) to create precedence in delivering venture capital and private equity to those who are unable to access traditional methods of these highly regarded financial products. The protocol is built to deliver users non-custodial access to far-reaching investments globally — be those start-ups, or financing real-world businesses that are already in operation. The protocol is built to allow democratic proposals and voting systems, staking rewards for settlers, and a treasury that is controlled by the community. By simply connecting your MetaMask or WalletConnect to the protocol, you connect yourself not just to ukiyo, but to the many other major DeFi protocols within the web3 ecosystem.
How does the Seed Round work?
To sign up as one of the many first recruits to the ukiyo community you will need to visit the website and register an account. There you will be taken through typical KYC/AML checks that will whitelist you and grant access to the opening supply of the native $KXO token. After being whitelisted — congratulations, that's it! All you'll need now is to connect your Ethereum-compatible wallet to start engaging with the community and become part of an unprecedented new community of settlers.
Quotas
- 5% of the circulating supply will be available during the seed round — an allocation of 26,050,000 $KXO tokens
- Minimum buy-in is capped at $350 USD
- Maximum purchase limits are capped at $10,000 USD
- Each $KXO token is priced at $0.058
- Phase I and Phase II are public sales; pricing and timelines TBC
- 40% of the total supply has been allocated to the community Treasury
- The remaining supply, circulating or not, is allocated to certain areas, functions, and key individuals
A word of caution: if it's your first time participating in the DeFi space, please make sure to keep the secret keys and phrases of your wallets in a safe place — losing them will cause a loss of your tokens and affect your eligibility as one of the first settlers in the ukiyo Protocol.
After you're done collecting your $KXO tokens, be sure to join our community channels to keep updated on the progress of the protocol, and more importantly, have your say in how the community should move forward.
This is the new world, and together, let's create the grandest story in Finance 🚀
See you, Space Samurais 🥷
